RTVC
Brand Architecture &
Territorial Cohesion
For Radio Televisión Canaria (RTVC), we led a long-term brand consulting and broadcast design project spanning 2008 to 2025, anchored by strategic milestones in 2008 and 2017. We restructured the master network identity and its news division (Telenoticias) to meet national visual standards and ensure aesthetic longevity.
Geometric Rigor &Chromatic Continuity
Our art direction replaced traditional regional design tropes with a mature, geopolitically conscious design system:
· Continuity Milestones: We established the formal framework to unify on-air packaging and news broadcasts through a timeless geometric matrix designed to outlast shifting visual trends. ·
· Geopolitical Neutrality: We deliberately bypassed the regional flag’s colors to avoid provincial identity conflicts (yellow for Gran Canaria, sky blue for Tenerife). An intermediate palette of grays, deep blues, and petrol blue established corporate balance.
· Investigative Narrative: We stripped down the plot’s complexity to its structural essence. Every frame functions as a visual clue where negative space and solid color blocks build a suffocating atmosphere, directly immersing the viewer into the underbelly of this “Dark City.” The outcome is an international broadcast design piece where digital craftsmanship and formal research unite to honor auteur cinema through a distinctly vanguard lens.
