LOS ANUNCIOS DE TU VIDA

Graphic Archaeology & Media Evolution

Commissioned by Prensa Ibérica for Manuel Campo Vidal’s documentary series on TVE, we compressed decades of Spanish advertising history into a 15-second opening sequence, transforming historical archives into a sociological journey.

SynthesizingVisual Evolution

The animation operates as a living timeline of media consumption:

· Chronological Journey: A fluid transition across eras. The piece opens with 1940s and 50s classic animation, mutates into the domestic arrival of TV in the 60s, progresses through 70s graphic trends, and culminates in an 80s aesthetic.

. Iconography & Texture: High-contrast pop culture silhouettes (the Osborne bull, the test pattern) are layered with vintage halftone screens and analog grain. Clean framing elevates archival footage into an art statement.

· Typographic Anchor: The title features a heavy, condensed sans-serif typeface. Its structural stability frames and organizes the constant mutation of past imagery, ensuring a polished, modern brand recall. The outcome is a cinematic title sequence where motion design acts as a historical thread, honoring Spain’s visual heritage.
